Do you know who designed the American Flag ? In the following essay i will be explained who designed the flag, what do the symbols mean, and what changes did they make to the flag over the years. I’m going to be talking about these because these are very important and they are important because the people who designed it, they put some meanings in it.

There are meaning for the national bird and for our rose of the United States. So there has to be a meaning for the our national flag. The meaning of the red color on the flag is for courage. The meaning of white is purity. The meaning for the color blue is vigilance, perseverance, and justice. They made The Pledge of Allegiance was made in 1892. The pledge has meaning to it and the meaning to pledge to loyoly.

The first flag was made in 1776. She told them that the design they brought her, it needed to get a 5 pointed star. In 1777 she was getting paid to make flags for Pennsylvania. The first flag was with no stars at all but, then it increased to 13 stars and it would stand of for the 13 colonies. Francis Hopkinson was the one that was responsible for the stars on the flag. The flags famous name is ¨old glory¨. The colonists’ first flag was known as the Grand Union. The first change of the flag was in 1794. The flag inspired Francis Scott Key to write ¨the star spangled band¨. The birthday of the flag is June 14. Our flag represents freedom, liberty, and unity. The had 6 stripes and those white stripes meant for purity. And the 7 red stripes were meant for hardiness and
