World War I was one of the most barbarous catastrophe that has ever happened. The main countries who participated in the war were the Triple Entente: Great Britain, France, Russia, and later on, the United States, who were against the Central Powers: Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Italy. Historians believed that the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was the event that “sparked” the war, but there were many events that happened before the assassination that led to war. The main reasons that caused the war was militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism. Every one of the men are paying a cost for battling in the war. It's the concealed cost of war that will leave them changed for the rest of their lives. Enrique
