Who am I as a College student? This is a good question, because honestly, I have never asked myself this. Right away the only thing, which jumps to my mind is a student who is trying to seek a higher education. I have never really taken into consideration who am I as a college student. Finding myself, I see the choices I have made as a college student and which paths I have chosen. Why did I choose a private college, a smaller college, and a Christian college? These are three very solid whys right off the back. How have I shaped as a person throughout college? As a high school student looking to expand my education and horizons, I knew I wanted to explore my options into college. Exploring my options, I went on at least six college visits; visiting some places twice. Right away I looked at these visits as just a place to go play sports in college. I came to a state of mind though throughout the process where I realized there is an opportunity for me to do something greater in college, rather than just sports. In this instance, right now I find my mind just baffled. Being one of those writers who struggle with a certain topic is not a good place to be. That is just who I am though; someone who only exceeds on certain writings. Writing papers where I am not allowed to use I or me, have always gotten the best of me. I have found myself over the years getting better at writing with whatever topic I am given. Coming a long way since my freshman year of high school where my teacher said my work was atrocious. Being required to take this Composition 1 class for my major, I have found this class being very useful for my everyday life. Even though I may not be writing every day, I tend to see myself using what I have learned, while speaking. The verbiage, which I speak has become more abundant and fluent because of Composition
