Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born on August 9, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey. She was an award-winning singer. She was also the youngest child and had two brothers. She began to show signs of her talent at a very young age. It was like the talent of singing ran in her blood because her mother, cousin, aunt, and godmother were all amazing singers. She started her singing career at a church singing side by side with her mother. She was signed to a record label at the age of nineteen and transitioned her singing style from gospel to pop. In 1992, Whitney married to Bobby Brown.
Whitney soon began to be emotionally abused by her husband and began using drugs. She would smoke marijuana, rock cocaine, and took prescription pills. The use of the
