The white colored carnivore of the southeast part of Asia is called the White Tiger. The White Tiger is a type of Bengal Tiger that lives in India also. These cats have similar characteristics to Bengal Tiger. The males are bigger and weigh about 70 to 220 pounds more than females. White Tigers are carnivores that eat monkeys, birds, and other wild animals like deer and pig. Also they live alone for hunting reasons and like to hunt at night to get a jump on prey.
The White Tiger is found mostly in southeast Asia, but they are also found in parts of India. Countries like Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh are some examples of where it is found. They are known to live in grasslands, forest, tropical forest, moist jungles, and mangrove swamps. These are the ideal spots for White Tigers because they “can support dense vegetation and a good source of fresh water.” Also White Tigers need a place to make their hunting easier, so they can use tall grass from grasslands and trees,shrubs and other vegetation in forest and jungles to hide in and sneak up on their prey. White Tigers usually spread over a 10 to 30 square mile area, which is mostly because of hunting purposes,and some tigers territories overlap, but they don’t share entire territories. Their coat is mostly light cream with light brown or grey stripes. As like other tigers the males are larger “between eight and 10.2 feet (that is, between 2.4 and 3.1 metres) in length, from head to tail. They weigh around “420 and 570 pounds (190 and 260 kilograms)”. While the females are around “7.1 and 8.5 feet (equivalent to between 2.1 and 2.6 metres) long.” They “average about 158 kilograms (350 pounds).” Also their ears are rounded at the top and sharp teeth, which help when biting and tearing meat.
