The movie is about a successful, talented black photographer name Chris. Chris and his white girlfriend (Rose) travels to her hometown to visit her parents. In the movie when the blind art critic tells Chris “I don’t care about your skin color, I just want your eyes”. The whole movie shows how much privilege these people have. It shows because of their race and economic status they think they are entitled to everything they want, even as far as taking over someone’s body, which is very absurd. When the blind art critic says, “I don’t care about your skin color, I just want your eyes”. It shows how his in denial that he only wants Chris eyes because he could’ve had anyone else’s eyes. When the white men also stated, “when want black bodies because of the ability and strength they have, and working together will make it even better”. Why does the black body have to be improved by white people for it to be even better? Or what makes them think it’s okay to enslave these black individuals for their own
