Blacks are still being discriminated against and are still not equal in today's society. According to USA Today, “Arrest rates are lopsided almost everywhere. Only 173 of the 3,538 police departments USA Today examined arrested black people at a rate equal to or lower than other racial groups”(USA Today). This is a prime example of white privilege because it shows that in 4% of police stations, they didn't arrest more blacks than other races. This tells is that white people think that white privilege is gone but, although not many people seem to realize it, the statistics clearly show blacks being discriminated against through arrest like in the 1900’s. Therefore white privilege is still her but many do not notice
