Capitalism is the aspect of political and economic trade, and their industries that are managed by individuals for profit rather than Canada's government. White patriarchy is a term easily used to describe the state of our current society. In the Canadian government, men tend to hold and maintain the power and women are typically deprived of these opportunities. Unfortunately, this style of society has been maintained throughout history. In our social system, both of these factors have combined creating a white supremacist capitalist patriarchy, also known as, Donald J Trump.
This debauched form of society, present throughout the United States, is exceedingly racist and sexist. Capitalism and white patriarchy working together supports many forms of racism. This use of racism, sexism, and oppression are to prevent ethnic groups and females from joining the "white man's" power and wealth. Women working white collar positions are seen as a minority and women of colour are seen as a racial minority. This is because many white collared careers such as lawyers, accountants, and doctors are filled by Caucasian males. As a result, these women face a higher risk of being discriminated in the workplace. Another result of this is that women, both coloured and Caucasian, may find it more difficult to find a secure and high paying job. This is due to their employers not believing they are qualified enough to take on this position.
