Space was needed as well for the children’s foreign pets, such as racoons, badger, and more. To provide the previous offices, a West Wing was constructed in 1902. And later on in 1942 a East Wing was constructed for more offices (White House).
In 1948 the inferior of the mansion was renovated. A south portico was added to the second floor balcony. One more great renovation was done by Jacqueline Kennedy, wife of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy displayed historic items and aesthetic values across all the rooms.Jacqueline Kennedy,, quoting from the article White House, “,made the White House a centre of national culture and awakened public interest in its beauties by conducting a televised tour of the mansion in 1962.”
The assorting of the house consists of rooms, presidential offices, to the public rooms, living spaces, and extra rooms. The White House complex has more than 130 rooms. Also contains family accommodates in the main building and as well parts for the public. The Oval Office, in the West Wing, cabinet and press room are all presidential offices located in the east
