White Helmet Research Paper

Since Russia started its major bombing campaign in Syria, thousands of innocent lives have been lost to this violence. There is absolutely no mercy in this bombing campaign as women and children are often among the casualties. That is where the White Helmets come in. This group of selfless men and women risk their lives every day to save others. They get the name White Helmets because of the color of their protective hard hats. They sit on the tops of buildings, keeping an eye out for incoming Russian bombers and immediately search through the rubble, rescue whom they can and render aid when another airstrike hits. With the rise of ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) Russia claims, it is working alongside the government of Syria to target ISIS and cripple their strong hold in the region by offering air strikes. The problem with this is there have been claims that Russia is actually targeting Syrian Rebels with the Syrian military also, instead of ISIS. Because of this, there are no limits as to what or whom they target.
