A majority of white-collar criminals are motivated to gain for the purpose of profiting their firm; therefore, not benefiting themselves directly. The criminal offender is more likely to commit the crime to avoid losing some sort of entity rather than to fain for their own personal vendetta (Alalehto, 2015).
