Whistler is a deluxe city that is located in a valley between two mountains. Our city is 161.7 km2 and has over 30,000 hectares of protected forest with a lot of evergreen trees and wild flowers. We are near British Columbia’s capital Victoria and the biggest ocean in the world. This city is the home to about 10,000 permanent residents. We were the host of the 2010 winter Olympics and for our world class mountains as well as ski resorts. This city is blessed to have all these different physical features that make this city unique.
We are found in the southwest of B.C. and have many land uses from ski resorts in mountains to shopping center and forest with many different species of wildlife and plants. Whistler is located within the Mountain
