While watching Esther Perel’s Ted Talk she discusses multiple important concepts to focus on while in a long-term relationship. The two ideas I found most interesting was the questions she posed along the lines of “What draws you most to your partner?” such as at their work, when they are far away etc. The second question she mentioned that I found interesting was “what shuts you off and turns you on?”. While watching this TED talk I actually thought about my own relationship. My current boyfriend and I are going through a very rough time in our relationship.
