Which Pigment Of Light Has The Fastest Grow Lab Report

Introduction: The problem being tested is which pigment of light causes the best growth of a bean seed. The experiment should show that the blue light will have the fastest growth. Following the blue light, red should show the second most efficient color for a plants growth. Therefore, the control light will be the least effective out of those three. This project was chosen because of interest of growth of plants inside instead of outside. The solutions to this experiment might help somebody who doesn’t have any outdoor space to plant.
Materials and Method: 30 plastic cups, 5 red transparent folder dividers, 5 blue transparent folder dividers, soil, organic bean seeds, stapler, water, and a ruler were used to perform this experiment First, 30 clear plastic cups were filled with soil. After that, a bean seed was placed in each cup. Then, half of a red transparent divider for folders was wrapped around the cup to make the light that goes through it look red. The procedure was repeated until 10 cups were reached. That procedure was repeated with half of a blue transparent divider for folders. Finally, the 30 blue, red, and control cups were placed under the same conditions and they received the same amount of water daily. "Light Colors and plants" supports my conclusion in a way because it states that plants grow best under blue and also red light.The rain received at the beginning of this experiment may have caused many plants to die. Next time I conduct this experiment I would probably make sure I place the plants under a roof but also somewhere where they can get a good amount of sunlight. To improve this experiment I would try to grow different kinds of plants instead of just a bean seed and I would also try different colors of
