They have been in these places for so long they just become used to them. “We need others to survive, and our methods or interacting will affect the degree to which we obtain our needs.” (Harrington, 2012)
The statement clearly emphasizes this; we need to become more approachable to others, and less selfish of ourselves. By doing so, we see the “real” people around us, and we, as a whole, learn to be more social.
