Where am I now?
In the world of professionalism, several factors contribute to the identity named professional. The Oxford Dictionary (2016. Web. 10 Feb. 2016.) defines professionalism as “The competence or skill expected of a professional: the key to quality and efficiency is professionalism“; it goes further in the Oxford Advanced Learner 's Dictionary (2016. Web. 10 Feb. 2016.) to state it as “the high standard that you expect from a person who is well trained in a particular job”. The need to be an effective and productive Professional has become eminent as this determines success in the workplace. Several research highlights these; for example there are globally recognized metacognitive tools which measure standards against professionalism. Some of such tools include Emotional Intelligences which defines the use of EI in the workplace for success (Daniel Goleman 's 1995 Book called 'Emotional Intelligence ') and reflects that Emotional Intelligence is increasingly relevant to organizational development and developing people, because the EQ principles provide a new way to understand and assess people 's behaviours, management styles, attitudes, interpersonal skills, and potential; On the other hand, development cannot be absolutely formulated without fully understanding the concept of the Five Minds for the future highlighted by Howard Gardner in his book “Five Minds for the Future” elaborating on the five different mind forms which includes The disciplined mind
