In Matthew's Goodman essay “Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio,” the author gives insight about athletes not being qualified to be heroes. Goodman mentions, Mike Tyson, a clear example of this reality as he was awesome only in the ring. He explains thoroughly why he thinks athletes are not qualified to be heroes.
