1.Do you want to be a Pharmacist? After you do research, and talk to the real people you might have different thoughts.I’ve been interested in pursuing my dream of become a pharmacist for about three years now. It started when I talked to Gregg Cea when we were hunting. After I talked to him I 've just always wanted to become one. First to become a pharmacist, you have to complete a very long schooling process. 5.The schooling can last up to seven or eight years. Two years for your general education classes and about four years for your pharmacy studies. Some people get two degrees and will get the business administration too. When you complete the pharmacy school you still have to take a couple of test so you can work in this field. You …show more content…
4.Have you went to Walmart? The pharmacist there had to go to school. There are hospital pharmacists that do not have to deal will a lot of people and still make about the same as someone in Walmart. Also you have your local drug store pharmacist (Pharmacy). All of these have close to the same job just in different locations. When you become a pharmacist and get a job you will have opportunity to advance in the business. 7.If you work for a drug store you could become supervisor or if you work in just a local pharmacy you could become part owner or owner. You would have a huge chance of becoming part owner or owner of your own pharmacy if you go back to collage and get your Major in Business Administration (Pharmacy). Like SWOSU, Some collages offer a double major (Over). Pharmacist have different work schedules. 8.If your employed by someone you will usually work forty hour weeks, might work weekends, could work on holidays, and could be at night. 14.The median annual salary is about 109,000 in Oklahoma. If your just starting you will probably make 80,000 or higher, depending on where you are working. if five years you could be making your 109,000, giver or take a little. It is usually strait all across the bored on how much you make depending on where your work. You could get payed more if your an owner or usually the grocery store pharmacist might make more that at the local drug store (Pharmacy). However, it will not make a difference on where you work after collage, you will still be making a very healthy salary. Another reason you should look into pharmacy is because of how much the field is growing. 16As the field is growing your mom is getting older, your grandpa is getting a strange pain in his left hip. In other words the old is getting older, and the young are getting old. More people are getting health insurance and can get help. So the point is the field will need more pharmacist as time goes on (Pharmacy). You should never be able to just go get your medication out of the vending machine at
