In this paper, I will argue that a person exists where their body is and when that body dies, the soul dies with it. The soul is the embodiment as to who you are. Where is this soul though? Is the soul in the body, mind, or both? This paper contains information regarding how a person is represented in their own body and poses hypothetical scenarios that deals with the separation of the mind and body. Following this, the concerns regarding the death of the body and soul is address. While I do not have all the answers on these matters, I will provide my views and arguments in hopes of presenting a different perspective.

The changing of one’s body image, say through exercise, will affect their personality and how they act, but it is a gradual change. The change may become a major turning point in the person’s life, however it is still their own life story to write and this change is simply a plot twist. If my brain was suddenly shoved into a different body, the first thing that would come to mind is “who am I?” My routines would change, how I act around people would change, my demeanor would change, every aspect of who I was would change. I would not be me anymore. It would not be a simply edit to the story but rather a hard reset. With the brain and body combination properly established, different scenarios can be brought up.
You are only yourself when the specific combination of your body and your brain is properly paired. What if the brain was copied and uploaded into another body? The copy would not be you, but more like a very close twin. You would have shared the same memories, however your demeanors and personalities would quickly drift apart from each
