Deciding to Attend College Is it a good decision to attend college? Will going to college guarantee me a better future? Does having an education gives me a better life? Why have I decided to attend college? I have decided to attend college to further my education, to own my own business, and to be successful. Having a good Education is very important. By having good education it gives me a better chance at having better job opportunities, more money and more respect. When employers look for job candidates they look for the best employees first, and to be the best I must have an education. Without some type of education finding a good paying job will be difficult. Having a higher education will qualify me for higher job positions. Hence qualifying me to receive more money. “A picture is often worth a thousand words, and the graph below illustrates this point. The horizontal axis measures income while the vertical axis breaks up the income level by education level. I have been hearing this my entire life and I believe that it is true. Because as I stated earlier without some type of education I can’t be successful. What is success? Education is the key to success because it opens doors for people of all backgrounds, and it expands the human mind with knowledge.
