Julius caesar was a determined leader and had the personality of being a worthy politician. Caesar at one point and time had shared power over the Roman Empire with a man named Pompey. Pompey no longer wanted to share the Roman Empire, and decided to block Caesar from entering Rome. Caesar grew furious that Pompey wanted complete power. This lead to a civil war between Caesar and Pompey. Caesar with his loyal soldiers defeated Pompey giving Caesar all power. Caesar had finally and officially became the dictator of the Roman Empire and ruled all of its territories. With Caesar being in power, he had all the skills of a worthy politician.
