Later Macbeth hires murderers to kill Macduff and his family because the witches told him to “beware Macduff” and he felt that Macduff threatened his power as king but Macduff escaped early. He also wanted to take Macduff’s castle. Lady Macbeth has been feeling guilt and can't seem to wash the blood off her hands. She sleepwalks often and in the end can't handle it anymore and commits suicide. She wouldn't have gone through any of that if she didn't let power hunger control her. In the end Macbeth dies from overestimating his power in a battle against Macduff. Macduff at the end of the play was obsessed with power and authority. He would kill anyone who got in his way and wouldn't believe he would ever get caught. He transformed from an honorable man into a power hungry and selfish man. Lady Macbeth thought it seemed like she wanted to be queen but once she got what she wanted she couldn't handle the guilt. In the end they both died as karma from their wrong
