When I Had Grown The Saw Critical Thinking

While I have gotten better over the years, my work life still invades my personal life. There is no way for me to simply flip a switch at 5pm and stop working; I am always checking emails or working at night from home. Another issue that I need to work on a bit is keeping in mind that I am never working on tasks for myself. In the IT field, we always have to know that what we work on usually results in changing an end user’s experience.
“Begin with the End in Mind” is another category in this range that I need to work on. Life changes on a daily basis. This means that I have to adapt to the situations at hand, which might lead falling off the planned path. I am not that good at making efficient goals. Either they are small and meaningless or they are too large to achieve soon enough before I lose motivation. Over the past several months I have started to make smaller goals in which I can accomplish in a meaningful amount of time yet still have to be productive to my life. This should help me in this category as a have a clearer understanding of my future and what I want to accomplish down the road.

The one that I feel needs the most improvement in this category is “Sharpen the Saw”. This category directly talks about the physical and mental nature. While I am very good at building and maintaining relationships, my care for the physical side of my life is very poor. I have learned that having poor physical health directly impacts your mental ability. It makes your lazy, tired, and sometimes unpredictable in sense of you attitude. The laziness impacts more than just yourself; it impacts the people around you as well. Most people feed off of others energy. Being in poor physical condition can not taking steps to change this can directly impact the way that others act when around
