When Did Volleyball Become A Sport

The sport volleyball was invented in 1895, by William G. Morgan , the sports name was originally called “ Mintonette”. The game was a combination of different sports which are, basketball, baseball, tennis, and handball. Athletes played in a tournament but the problem was that there was no rules. Volleyball became a sport, because volleyball had combinations of different sports like basketball and mostly balls that you use your hands with. It became a sport because it had all those sports that have been played. When the united states volleyball program decided to have a tournament it then started everywhere . From games, to indoors, to beaches that's how it became a sport.
