Journal: Paul and Elder recommend completing a journal and analyzing the answers. Therefore, answer the following questions each week and record how your thought process is developing:
When did I do my worst thinking today? I did my worst thinking late in the night when I was tired. I should have waited until I was rested to accomplish anything.
When do I do my best thinking? When I am alone in the office and not distracted. When I close the office door and turn off the phone, I can focus better.
What did I actually think about today? Tonight several of my drivers were stuck in traffic on I-40 for several hours. These drivers were stuck there for so long that they ran out of driving hours to work, meaning DOT drivers are only allowed to legally

The exercise was a very interesting simulation because I had never been put into a situation where I had to face so much pressure before and it was very interesting for me to see how I dealt with the pressure. Additionally, as CEO of my FME company I have been put into some situations where I was under quite a lot of stress, but this stress level was at a much higher level with me having to prioritize what I wanted to assess first and what I wanted to attend to last. I think I was most effective at focusing on each aspect separately and not attending to several things simultaneously. For instance, even though I was continuously getting alerts on my email address about the several other things I had to attend to, I didn’t get distracted and…

Bam! This was the day which will cause me to listen to people more. The day I busted my head open was when I was eleven on a Monday morning right before me and my brother went to school, which started at 8:10 a.m. This morning was supposed to be a let’s-have-fun kind of morning. In the morning I woke up at six thirty to get ready for school; thinking about how the day would consist of learning, eating, and recess, and I went to the kitchen to eat breakfast.…

Even though, Confucianism does not believe in a God, per se, but rather, philosophical beliefs in the person themselves and what one makes of their life, through the unifying interactions of yin and yang. Taoism, also known as Daoism, does not have a fully recognized God, similar to Lao Tzu, who is revered by some, others, a majority, believes in the many differing Gods that serve a specific purpose, essentially, prayers are offered to specific deities based on circumstance.…

Personal Wholeness, according to my definition, is not a specific destination. It is a process full of steps we must all take in order to better ourselves in every aspect of our lives. In the Bible, being whole is described as “Shalom” which means completeness, health, peace, welfare, rest, harmony etc. We are called as Christians to live our lives to the absolute fullest (John 10:10) and in order to do this, we must take every area in our live into account when trying to move closer to gaining personal wholeness. There are many different area’s that play into personal wholeness such as social, mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, vocational, and environmental.…
