Target Market:
The design of this wheelchair friendly carousel is targeted at children who are physically disabled and unable to use more conventional jungle gyms/outdoor toys. This carousel can be designed to be part of an indoor playground and can also become inclusive for the visually and hearing impaired, depending on the material choices and how they may be finished (perhaps in bright contrasting colours for the visually impaired). The age range for children who use this product is likely ages 3 – 10, though the maximum age is not

Paying special attention to its general, mechanical, thermal, electrical, optical and environmental properties, suitable materials were listed, limited and compared, utilizing the Selection Data tools in the form of graphs, limitations and trees.
