1. The New York Post article describes Whataburger`s stance on Texas` new open carry gun laws. Do you disagree or agree with the new law? Explain.
According to The New York Post article, I disagree with the new open carry gun laws. People should feel safe going out in public shopping, eating, and having fun. Places equivalent to restaurants are supposed to be where people get together and have dinner and are safe. If I saw a gun in another person’s pocket I would not even show up at the place anymore. I would be at home buying everything online. Just because someone has a license to carry a gun this person out of nowhere can start shooting.
2. How would you feel if people with visible firearms were eating next
