It’s not surprising to know if you’re not ready for college. Most high- schoolers are not prepared…. as in not prepared financially, not prepared for college course-work and not prepared for the freedom of going to a university. So, if you are in your senior year in high school, what are things that you should know right now before going to college? You’ll be surprise but if you’re thinking that you have to go to college immediately after your high school graduation, you really don’t have to. You can go to college when you’re ready—mentally, physically and financially. Even our parents think that after H.S, we should be focusing on our studies. Do you know how to budget? Planning is the key. Spending your money on the right stuff means you are spending it wisely. Focus on what’s important such as food, tuition fees, school supplies, books and other educational things for you to do well at school. This is something that most high school students and college students fail to focus on. Money is important in college. If your parents are the one sending you to college, you’re lucky because they have planned your college years ahead of time which makes them financially ready to support you in whatever course you take. If you are getting some financial aid from the government, then, maximize it. This is your chance to prove yourself you deserve to be in school. If you are a self-supporting student, you deserve to be praised. Study hard and focus on what you can do, not only for yourself but for your family and countrymen.
