Those boys relish in the fact that they are beating up a person, which to them isn't a person at all. But to me, I believe that it is wrong to beat up anyone. Not just because bullying is bad, but also because you don't know what that person is going through in their own minds. When theses kids beat up the male and female, it was almost like a boost to society of what those kids actually do and what makes them appear adamant to the adults. When the delinquents start hammering away on the man people start to rush over and help out. They say that you can't beat him up because he is a human being, which is true because, going back to stereotypes, just because they are different doesn't mean that we should beat them and disregard because of an impetus. Wether those being racial stereotypes or sexual ones, we can relate to them. I feel that you should get involved when you see something that is wrong even if "it isn't my job", or "I didn't want to get involved." Because you getting involved could save lives. When we watched the video about the man jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge, no one stopped to help him. When you see something wrong what should you do? Should you say it's not my business, or should you help out the person by even asking if they are okay? It all boils down to doing the right thing even if you didn't want to get involved with the situation. As Linda Hamilton demonstrated when the man fell down on the side walk, she knew she could do something to help out even if she didn't know the person at all. Nevertheless she still stopped and helped the man, while comforting him. She asked for help which was a good thing to do because she believed that we should get involved and do the right thing.
