Today many middle aged Americans are still attending college in hopes to get their bachelor's degree, or some degree to make them financially stable. Some are just starting while others started and had to quit, due to life events or the fact that college is too expensive. The normal four year degree with housing, could leave a student with a tens of thousands of dollars in debt before they ever had a professional career. Imagine what the possibilities would be if college were free. Free college’s would force private college to lower their tuition for students; which only benefit the student’s.
