The 16th century was the age of the Reformation, it lead to the birth of several new religions and the reform of what was the old Catholic Church. Two of the most well known religious leaders of the time period were Henry VIII from France and Martin Luther from Germany. They became very similar in many ways, while still different in others. While Henry and Luther both used their political advantage and declined the church in their own ways, their motives were completely different.
