The Progressivism started in the nineteenth century, more specifically in 1900 to 1920 the was a reform movement complex and fascinating political movement. Its goal was a greater democracy, honest, efficient and active government making more justice for the society and regulating the business. The purpose of the government was to expand the power so government can play more positive role in the society and its principal role was to use the government as an agency of human welfare.
