The industrial revolution was self sustaining in four major ways: The agricultural revolution, urbanization, population growth, and inventions. The agricultural revolution was started off of inventions like enclosures, which a smaller number of landowners created one, larger farm, which led to an increase in food production. Since there was more food, the prices dropped, which made the food affordable for everyone and it fed more people. Because food prices were cheaper, people had extra money to buy goods. Once more people started moving into towns and out of the countries the population began to multiply. The increase in population provided a labor force for factories.
