The first amendment is a very important amendment to your nation. It's what gives us the name "the land of the free". This amendment gives us the right to speak mind and express ourselves without being persecuted by the government because it's our right. The first amendment is like the base of all the others. Without it we would be just like any other nation. With just one comment about the government or to give our opinion freely we would be either put in prison or punished. Other countries forbid their people to speak their mind freely and just keep them back from freedom itself. We are blessed to have this opportunity to make our voice be heard.
