What Was The Effect Of Valentine On Claudias

He was a Roman Priest when there was an emperor called Claudias who persecuted the church at the time when he was priest. Claudias had an edict that prohibited the marriage of young people. The idea of encouraging them to marry within the Christian church was what Valentine was about . And he secretly married them because of the edict. Valentine was eventually caught put in prison and tortured for marrying young couples against command of Emperor Claudius. Claudius commanded him to be beaten with clubs and afterwards to be beheaded, which was executed on February 14 in the year 270. Valentine was a priest in Rome. He had such strong beliefs and faith in god that even death couldn't stop him from practicing and helping young people. Valentine
