1. What three different types of cloud computing models that have been developed?
The cost of Information technology had caused a major change around 10 years ago. Thus, most companies made the move to run their information technology from external service providers. This new paradigm is called cloud computing. Cloud computing is a business model and technological service. There are three different types of service widely in use today: Infrastructure as a service(IaaS), Platform as a service(PaaS), and Software as a service(SaaS). It leads the information technology industry because It reduces the cost to run efficiently the software and hardware applications. However, cloud computing has its limits due to the serious security threats and issues.
2. What are the main phases in the evolution of the internet? Briefly describe each.
The internet connects computers, businesses and consumers, educational institutions, government agencies, and individuals. It links countries, cities, and people around the world. The internet is a global medium of communication that is segmented into three phases: the innovation, institutionalization, and commercialization phase. The outlines are about to develop the different phases of the internet.
The innovation is the primary phase of the internet that starts from 1961 to 1974. The technological revolution starts with the packet-switching hardware, the protocol communications TCP/IP, and client/server computing. This period was driven by pure and applied research that links computers from different college campuses. The innovations of this phase are the followings: packet switching, global computer, killer app, client /server computing system, and TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet …show more content…
The business objectives are important to communicate and translate the functionality of the business through the design. The business objectives, system functionality, and information requirements must be identified to design and build the system.
The second step is to study past data to move forward. It is important to study these data before moving to the design. Thus, the data will make it easy to target the users. The design, layout, and navigation must use a simplified approach to easily scroll and select the options. Because the mobile platform is slower and smaller, the files need to be reduced
In sum, the mobile web will make the company more competitive by making the information more accessible to the customers via mobile devices. In addition, it will make easy the way to do business and make payments by using a mobile phone. It will also make the products available for the customers via his/her wireless phone. In fact, mobile commerce can no longer be ignored, so business ventures will be
