Monologue For Rumpelstiltskin

Improved Essays
“What the hell was that for?!” I am the Evil Que- the Mayor you injudicious idiot! So stop this nonsense and explain properly. Why did Henry eat the poisoned apple turnover? It was meant for you Emma Swan. You, you were supposed to die not Henry! Oh don’t look at me as if you don’t know what you’re guilty of. Miss Swan, you interrupted my soothing life and manipulated Henry with your loyalty, blinding him from my love. As long as you were alive, Henry was never going to be mine.
Allow me to tell you a fact. I maybe his stepmother, but I can tell you now that I have been a much better mother to Henry. You left him. You disowned him. Shouldn’t be hard to do it again, should it?! If you only ate it yourself, nothing, none of this nonsense would be happening. Don’t you get it? My son is dying because of the wretched situation you instigated! Let me tell you something. If I was following my instincts, I would’ve already crushed your heart, but consider yourself lucky because I have an unfeasible plan and I need to use you. It’s no surprise really, we need assistance from the Dark One. Rumpelstiltskin always has

But there is nothing I can do in this farcical situation without magic. I hate to say so, but you and I need to work together to save our loved child. So I’ll guard and… think while you slay the deathless beast. You probably die but the alternative? My child would die. So get a move on and… Quit glaring at me! Stop negotiating whether this is my fault. Because if you only took better care of Henry, non-of this would’ve happened. Well, maybe some of it’s my mistake. But what was I supposed to do? My life was like a bag of trash filled with venomous snakes. It’d bite you every second. And this absurd life. This preposterous life was manipulated and completely deployed by Cora. My mother! She coveted me to have her own life. The imbecile women said power was freedom, but as it turns out, it’s

This song strongly reminds me of Zach becasue he was always the master at pranks and finding ways to embarrass (bully) other students. The tone of the melody fits perfectly with Zach's personality becasue he is always thinking of a way to bully or pick on someone. According to pg. 14, the text states, "I did a quick scan to confirm there were no teachers looking on.... I reached up and snached a letter off.…

    Andover Monologue

“Well, I hit on Andover as the first town because it seemed like a quiet and likely spot where an old, frail little lady who owned a shop would be killed. I found Mrs. Ascher when I was in that town for personal business about a few months ago, and I had noticed that she was often in her little shop alone. For letter B, I had to use slightly different tactics. By now, lonely women in shops would have been warned about a killer on the loose, so I had to change the characteristics of my next victim. I often visited tea shops and cafes, where I began to notice girls with names who began with the right letter.…

“You’ll never leave” is carved faintly into the brick wall of the small jail cell, probably from its last guest. Every day, I started to believe the phrase more and more. I lay on the uncomfortable cot, pretending to be asleep. I’m lonely, but I’m not alone. I can hear him breathing and slowly flipping the pages of the newspaper; I assume it’s…

At one point or another in one’s life we are shackled to something. That something may be a relationship, ourselves , or even power. Power is probably the one thing that us as humans think we will be forever in control of, but truthfully, we are never fully in control of situations or people and at any instant we can lose power to others. Just as Antigone from Antigone by Sophocles and Equality 7-2521 from Anthem by Ayn Rand struggles to defy power in order to regain it . Antigone was a level headed young woman who was born in a powerful family, but being a women made the power not as “accessible” to her.…
