The role gangs play in the community are many, like selling drugs and guns, having territory and make sure there's nothing they don't want in their territory, and bribing local law enforcement into looking away from the crime they’re creating. They also bribe politicians to secretly help them when they are doing business. Gang initiations are usually a crime or some sort of brotherhood saying. There are many types of gangs in the world and they do all kinds of bad things.
