It was just another day far Bud. Everyday Bud's mother would tell him story's about how his grandparents escaped slavery. Bud took care of his little sister Susan who had a horrible disease. The day went on well, and in a blink it was night. Bud woke up to the sound of his sister's crying, and his mother's voice. When he went out he saw his mother on the floor, and bloodshed.
