What qualifies and disqualifies you as a witness
• What qualifies me as a witness is that I have personally suffered being unable to rent or own housing the neighborhood of my choice. I have witnessed people being displaced from their communities because they could not afford to live there anymore.
• What disqualifies me as a witness is the fact that I have not been at this advocacy for a short time.
B: What is the problem that you are addressing?
• The lack of safe, decent, accessible, and affordable rental housing in communities where people chose to live. For the last twenty years, rental housing available to the lowest income people have demolished and not enough replacement units have been built.
