Relationships are important but finding the right kind is always hard. My mom always says “that it takes two people’s effort in making a relationship work.” It takes a strong person mentally to realize when a relationship is no longer amicable. The average human forgets that relationships are not only those between each other but should include the necessary relationships with our surroundings. The stories: “What of this Goldfish, would you wish?”,”The wife’s story” , and “My so-called enemy” ; show that just because you were raised one way does not mean the other is wrong.

The wife is completely in love and trusting of her husband, which is a very good thing to have we you are together. With all that said, things start to change. He becomes distant and closed off. It does not help when the youngest child is now scared of the father and screams “Make it go away! Make it go away!” The husband and wife start to fight more often.
