Superhero films are quite popular and can be told over and over again from different points of views. By having these films being remade so many times one is able to observe the evolution of the film. Here one takes note of the evolution of Spider-man and The Amazing Spider-man. Leonardo DiCaprio DiCaprio is known for his outrageous roles that portray characters with a great deal of emotion in films, such as the Great Gatsby and The Wolf on Wall Street. Saving Private Ryan: Negative Argument Historical films matter, because for a lot of people, such films are where they get much of their knowledge of history from. After 300 came out, I noticed an increase in the number of my students who thought that Thermopylae was the reason the Persians lost that war, and Braveheart has certainly given people the idea that medieval Scots wore great kilts, when in reality the Scottish kilt is a late 16th century development. Small historical inaccuracies probably aren’t too serious, and I doubt that it really matters that many Americans think that the kilt was a medieval garment, but how a film presents history can have very powerful affects on how people understand the past and their people’s place in…

There were no short cuts made in the cost aspect. The screenplay was well written and for the most part seemed to coincide with Kyle’s auto biography written in 2012. “The American Sniper” is filled with intense actions scenes involving explosions, gun fights, vehicle warfare. Clint Eastwood hit the nail on the head by choosing Bradley Cooper to represent Chris Kyle. In the 1992 film “Tombstone” and the 1994 “Stargate,” he played the serious and focused persona of the ‘lawman,’ Wyatt Earp, and Colonel Jack O’Neil respectively. In 1992, his role as Captain Ron in the film bearing his character’s name, he was the happy go lucky ‘hero’ who helped a family who had never been on a boat before, learn how to captain their own sailboat which the father of the family had recently inherited. Finally, in his role as Ego, in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” his character’s personality was very similar to his role in “Captain Ron.” However, whereas he was the ‘hero’ of “Captain Ron,” he was the anti-hero, the villain, as Ego. While Ego and Captain Ron shared many of the same personality traits; warm, inviting, helpful, etc., Ego’s persona of a ‘Captain Ron’-like character was just a front.…

In Deadpool (2016), Ryan Reynolds plays a character called Wade Wilson, also known as the superhero Deadpool. The film follows the life of Deadpool and the many adversities he faces, such as finding out he has cancer, having to leave his girlfriend, and going through an extremely painful treatment. It also shows the entertaining parts of his life where he is a hit man, and his many drunken experiences. This superhero challenges the traditional hero narrative because although he helps many people throughout the film, he does not conform to the ideal of a hero. These differences between a usual superhero film and Deadpool make for an interesting twist in the cliché superhero story that viewers are so used to seeing because he doesn’t want fame…
