Having been an LCP, a position with much responsibility, I felt the need to get international experience and to find out how LCP works in other AIESEC committees across the world. I missed my chance to attend LatCo and EuroXPro last month because of the exam and this time I would not want to miss my chance to participate in the international congress. I asked myself “when will I ever have an opportunity to see 126 countries work together towards one common goal?” And I know that this chance will exist if I attend IC. Most of my VPs are self-reliant. Until today, my leadership style has always been supporting and delegating. If I got chosen to go to IC, then I will delegate all the tasks equally to my VPs and for sure, I will do follow up and check up with them frequently. I will also set up a reminder email in advance to be sent out even during the conference so; my VPs will remember the tasks that are assigned each of them to do before I leave the country.
What will be your unique and awesome contribution to AIESEC in Canada 's delegation? (Max. 50 words)
I guess it would be my ability to speak four languages! I speak fluent English, Bahasa Indonesia, Hokkien and conversational Chinese.
Each opportunity I take leads me to have even more passion for the organization. No matter what one does in AIESEC, growth and transformation will occur. It is for these reasons that I find myself repeatedly falling in love with this organization over and over again. I have learned more about myself, learned more about AIESEC and gained more confidence in my ability to continue with this
