What Makes Romeo And Juliet Perfect

Before even mentioning anything that I liked or disliked one thing must be said. Romeo and Juliet is a great tragedy, a famous story, and written incredibly well by William Shakespeare, one of the greatest writers in english language. Despite that, it is not perfect. There are many things that can be praised upon and adored, as well as things that could have been improved. Some of that comes with the age we live in and what writing we are exposed to before hand, and another part because no matter how good something is, it can never reach the ever unattainable level of perfect.
One of the best things about the story, in my opinion at least, is the fact that not everything is well in the fictional world of Romeo and Juliet. There is fighting with the families, tensions between characters, the love story is tragic and overall its not a fairytale. This sets up great from a reader's perspective. Things cannot be ideal all the time, nor should they be in writing. This makes for a story that entertains the reader and is not predictable.
Another thing which is desirable about the story is the connection we make with the characters and how we want them to succeed even when William Shakespeare has other ideas. This is, of course, a tragedy so things do not work out perfect in the end which is all the better for the emotion swinging of

The language is hard to understand which I did not prefer. That is a dislike, however it still makes a goodread because it is enriching. I also had a bone to pick with the realisticness of the play. Again, this could be time period but I found the play unrealistic in many parts of both the play and adaptation. This led me to not enjoy some parts and let myself think about other things. A flaw? Yes, but it was a fiction story, so there is room for happenings that are unrealistic. That does not mean that if I were to make a change that I wouldn’t choose

The figurative language deepens the book, and the style and craft drags the reader farther into it. The central idea of the book is well chose and described. The only thing that could have been improved is the figurative language. There is so much figurative language at certain parts that many readers do not may have trouble understanding it. Even with the confusing parts this book deserves a four out of five stars, because it is intriguing, but still has flaws.…

There was quite a bit more of foul language(7) than I expected, but it helped add more a more real effect to the conversation. I feel like a little of that type of language is acceptable, but it was used more excessively than what was actually needed. Another aspect that did not work well in my opinions was the fight and violence scenes(8). I did not think that the actions were exceptionally well acted out and they could have used more practice. Fighting scenes like that are hard to act out because they have to be so specific and rehearsed, but that part of the play just did not seem real to me.…

The negative components to this book were present throughout the novel. From the first paragraph I I could tell the writing style would disappoint. The sentence flow was weak and bored me. Reading for long periods of time was difficult due to this. Also, the writing style in general was unintersting.…

My complaint about this novel is that the language that is used makes it rather boring to read. It felt as if the book dragged on. If you are looking for a book for inspiration, this is a great one, but if you are reading for pleasure, I would try to find something more interesting. Ultimately, I am glad I read this book. It helped give me courage in a time I needed…

In my opinion, the play exceeded my expectations. I did not expect the actors to perform in a way that made me believe his or her conflict. The setting was well thought out and complimented the dialogue in a way that made me pay more attention to the conflict. The painting also added to the setting by focusing on the art aspect of the play. I also enjoyed the humor of the play.…

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

The play that I read is entitled Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) and it is by Ann-Marie MacDonald and published by Vintage Canada in 1998. This play is about a woman named Constance who is an assistant professor at Queen’s University and works for Professor Claude Night. She is working on a thesis about the works of Shakespeare and somehow ends up inside two of his most famous plays. I thought that this play was very interesting because you got to see more from the characters in the plays “Othello” and “Romeo and Juliet”.…

“Proud I can never be of what I hate” This could be put down to a number of things, Juliet becoming a teenager since she is only thirteen; the death of her close cousin, Tybalt, or her love for romeo. I feel this is effective because it leaves the audience to question whether her relationship has ultimately changed her. This brings out the parental instincts in each member of the audience and makes them question what they would do if Juliet were their daughter. Shakespeare, by doing this, again highlights that love can develop many emotions not jus happiness.…
