I am not a fan of Christmas music, or really festive music whatsoever. Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé, and the ever popular Bing Cosby just seem too cheesy for me. Hearing Christmas music repeatedly over the years from Thanksgiving to January every year, has made me form this rather Scrooge-like opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of the holiday season! Everyone coming home from far and wide to see family and friends and spend time with one another, I just see most modern Christmas music as tacky and heartless. The endless covers of older songs by new artists does bring some fresh air to the holiday music, but I never have found a Christmas album that I would consent to listen to annually.
