Considering there are many attempts at creating smartphones with the ability to support different applications, most have failed and never made it to production. Apple has not only created hundreds of beautiful, and well functioning applications of their own that allow people to read, make music, take notes, and more, they also leave room for developers and companies to create the other millions of applications that many people have come to love and use as a daily part of their lives today. And once more, since Apple was the first to create a smartphone, developers and companies creating these applications were on board with Apple first and have created bonds with Apple creating a mutualistic relationship for Apple and the vast amount of developers to benefit from. Apple not only created the first smartphone to use a multi-touch display, they also pioneered and set a basis of how a smartphone is supposed to operate. For example, the iPhone 6 has been praised for how quick and responsive the phone is from when you touch it all the way to when you speak to it or use its fingerprint security system. User’s of an iPhone 6 experience an almost instantaneous reaction from tapping what you want on the screen to the phone’s processor analyzing information, understanding the user’s intent, and returning the information back to the screen for the user to value from. When using other smartphones users may experience an obvious delay when tapping items on their smartphones display. Not only does the iPhone offer extremely fast reactions when using the phone casually ,but also delivers excellent performance when playing games or watching movies that many smartphones simply cannot deliver. Of course the first iPhone was not the best at its processing power but because Apple was the first to create the smartphone they have been able to spend the most time on the subject and create some of the fastest and most valued processors on the market once again outdoing their predecessors and delivering a quality product to the people who have purchased

Many will assert that the easy-to-use interface is why they choose to purchase their devices, in spite of the fact that many Androids attempt to mimic the iPhone’s interface. Another portion of the users will say that it is because they are more protected from malware and viruses.
