Kindness is the most important thing to make a person 's life successful, because many times in life, people have found that kindness can fix any problem, build friendships and makes opportunities.

Maybe you have experienced having a neighbor who is in a bad mood most of the time. For example, when I left my house to go to school, I say hi to my next door neighbor who instead of saying hi back to me, she frowns and makes a noise that only lions in a zoo could make. No matter what, when I come back home from work or from school, she, my neighbor is in her rocking chair pretending to read and watching people passing by in front of her house. For a second I stop to think if it is worth it saying good evening or hi since she never answers back. Well, I think, I wont loose anything by trying. So there I go again, showing my pretty smile and with my sweetest voice I say "Hi Mrs. Landy, how are you doing?" For the first time, Mrs. Landy raises her eyebrows and stares at me but did not say a thing. Then, she looks back at the magazine that she is holding on her lap. I could not believe it, how embarrassing. I 'm sure that the neighbors were watching and they probably think how dumb I could be if I know that Mrs. Landy don 't even talk to any of the neighbors. Well, thinking back about this, I really don 't regret doing what I did. I actually felt very good by trying to be nice to Mrs. Landy. I can put myself in her shoes and I really think that she is a lonely woman. I never see any relatives visiting her unless they visit when I 'm at school or at work.
