What does it mean to be a leader? Is it someone like a coach? A CEO? The President? While some of these might sound like powerful titles or positions to have, but they don’t necessarily mean that you’re a leader. Everyone probably has their own definition for leadership, but to me a leader is not just the title or the position, it is the unprecedented dedication, integrity, courage, and trustworthy your team of people.
It is surprising that we have leaders all around us and that person might be as common as your mom or dad in the family. Parents are a great example of leadership, because they are the one who dedicated a great deal to the family by providing, teaching, being considerable, making sure the family is superb, and countless other things. Sometimes people take things for granted, due to the leader’s dedication into whatever it is, your footing might turn out for the better without knowing it. Martin Luther King’s extraordinary dedication to a group of people who deserve their equal rights became a reality. Dr. King might have started out as a nobody, but today he is known to be one of the most successful leader in history, this just proves that anyone can be a leader by bringing the best out of people. Through Dr. King’s letter to the clergy explaining that “In any violent campaign there are four basic steps… We have gone through all of these steps in Birmingham, There can be no gainsaying of the fact that racial injustice engulfs this community” (Dr. King 427).1…
