I made the decision in high school to become a lawyer, but experiences in college motivated the decision to want to become a prosecutor. Though I did not know much, what I did know was that my sense of right and wrong that infuriated my relatives whenever I called them out for speeding or saying something without having any evidence to back it up, were clear indicators of where I was going to end up. During my time on the College 's Mock Trial Team, I realized exactly what type of lawyer I wanted to be. I joined my school 's Mock Trial Team having absolutely no experience with what mock trial was and only had my confidence with public speaking as a primary skill to rely on. It was not until my first trial that I realized how much I loved the courtroom and while some people could not stand the upwards of three hour trials, I could not have been more enthralled. The first opportunity I received to perform as an attorney I did it with almost no preparation, with a group of witnesses that I had just met. It equated to jumping in the deep end considering
