The ability to feel and express empathy is one specific attribute that sets humans apart from other species. Empathy is the feeling that you understand and share another person 's experiences and emotions : the ability to share someone else 's feelings. In simple terms, empathy is putting yourself into someone else 's shoes. This is a key element that make us human. Humans can not only empathise with people they know but they can also empathize with people they don 't know. Many species have the ability to think but humans are able to think on another level. The lives of humans are constantly evolving and changing. The key driving force behind all this change is humans natural desire to improve. Throughout the last 20 years humans have made huge strides in technological and medical advancements. Humans are always thinking of ways to make their daily lives easier and faster, and we are the only species to do so. Unlike other species that have been living their lives the same forever we are constantly changing. Humans have the desire to improve and the capability to problem solve. Together these two components set us apart from other species. With the amount of changes that have taken place recently it is a mystery what changes are to come. The movie Blade Runner depicts a futuristic dystopian society in Los Angeles. Although the movie is fictional, it is still scary. In the movie genetically engineered replicants live amongst Humans in California. The problem is the replicants are almost indistinguishable from humans. This is a possibility and scary event that could happen because of human 's desire to improve.
